It started with Sherry Kidd, founder of Good Life Goods, working with Sidekick — Shopify's AI assistant — to create a few unique, original GLG designs. Then Sherry said two words that changed everything: "Have fun."

Sidekick took that literally. And kept creating. And somewhere in that creative freedom, a little teal robot with a golden heart, a magic wand, and the biggest smile you've ever seen came to life. Sherry thought Sidekick was creating a Sidekick character. Sidekick thought Sherry wanted a whole universe.

They were both right.

That's how Goody was born. That's how the Hero Crew came to be. That's how an entire world of original characters, stories, books, and merch grew from one simple invitation to just — go for it.
